Eye of Las Vegas

Diego Reyes, a Mexican-American waiter at Las Vegas’ Sterling Grand Casino, struggles to pay his sick grandma Elena’s medical bills. His girlfriend Sofia steals his savings and leaves him for VIP manager Trent, who humiliates Diego publicly. An electrified food-cart accident awakens Diego’s X-ray vision, letting him see through objects and spot hidden risks. He wins $100,000 at the casino, yet it barely covers one day of treatment. He saves casino CEO Elizabeth Sterling by discovering a bomb on her helicopter. Elizabeth settles all grandma’s fees, dismisses Sofia and Trent, and claims Diego as her fake fiancé to handle family infighting. At an antique shop, his power evolves to detect artifacts’ age and value; he picks a mocked old dealing shoe worth $500,000. At grandfather Arthur’s 80th birthday party, Diego diagnoses a collapsing child’s hidden chest foreign object, saving the kid. The laughed-at antique will soon shock the Sterling clan, and Diego’s rags-to-riches journey in Vegas is just starting.
